So, Lee Ann from The Butter Compartment had this BRILLIANT idea to start a "Diabetes Art Day". No creativity necessary, just come up with something to create using Diabetes as the inspiration.
I know several of my fellow D Mom bloggers are participating, so I finally decided we would join the fun!
I am NOT a creative, artistic person, but had this idea...
The World Diabetes Day symbol is a blue circle...
And I knew we had blue Animas Insets...
So I came up with this...
And THAT's as creative as it gets around here!
You can also check out some other Diabetes Art Projects at I am Your Pancreas , Candy Hearts,Beta Buddies, D Tales, We Caralot, Houston We Have A Problem, Life Is A Box Of Chocolates, , Sugar Kids, and at A Work In Progress.

Don't forget to check out Hallie's art and enter for her "SWEET" contest at the Princess and the Pump.

Spreading the awareness...Good job!
I love it! Seriously - I think it is great!
That's great!
I love the blue circle! We need to get that symbol out into the world more!
Creativity doesn't necessarily equal crayons, paint, and glue or any other assorted art supplies. I think you expressed fantastic creativity with your blue circle. I love the symbolism! Great job!
I THINK IT'S PERFECT :)
Functional. Creative. Blue.
Perfect.
Love it! Of all the ones I've seen, yours may be the only one I've observed that utilizes the WDD blue circle! Creative thinking. Thank you so much for sharing!
Sometimes something simple just works, so no matter if you think you're creative or not, you created something that conveys an idea, and that's really all I encouraged everyone to do for Diabetes Art Day. I agree with Meri, that the blue circle needs more exposure, so anything we can do to put it out there is a step towards that. Thank you so much for joining the creative bonanza that Diabetes Art Day has been!
